This is a blog from the great minds of Lee & Natalie. In this blog we will share about whatever we want. We, from time to time, will share some of our art, art we like, adventures we have taken and so on and so forth. Who knows what you may read in its entries. It is simply an inside look into the what goes on in our awesome life.

Makeup Bags
Here are some makeup bags I just finished:

She’s Crafty…
Natalie got the right machine and she is killin it in sewing. Below are a few items she made to sell to help raise funds for our missions trip. Will and I have a few requests in for stuff we want professionally sewn but I think we will have to wait a bit, cause she is on a roll!

New Curtains
After almost one year of living in this house, I finally put up curtains! I bought the fabric from Ikea for $2.99/yard and made them with fusible webbing since I don’t have a sewing machine. Then, I used curtain clips at the top just in case I didn’t make the bottom perfectly straight. I can just adjust it at the top by clipping more or less fabric!

This fabric is nice because it adds some interest with the pattern, but it’s still a light color that will go with anything. Also, you can see that it allows some light in even if we leave them closed. The best thing about them is that they were cheap!
Trash the Dress
We finally did it! We took the plunge (literally) and did our trash the dress photo shoot. It turned out great! First, we went downtown and I wore a normal dress. We did some shots around Santa Fe Depot with Lexie. Then, I changed into my wedding dress and we posed on the train tracks until a worker yelled at us. We then left and went to the beach. Let’s just say, the water was a little cold…

The 1911 Wall
Being the crafty, artsy people that Natalie and I are we decided to take on a task. Natalie found this idea on the internet; So thanks to Craigslist which provided us a complete set of Encyclopedia Britannica from the year 1911 we did it. It took us about 4 hours and 2 bottles of Mod Podge to complete the putting up the pages alone. But we are really happy with how it turned out. Every page on the wall is hand picked by us for one reason or another. Think about it if you had the entire encyclopedia to pick which ever words you wanted what would you chose? So feel free to come over someday and just read our wall!
